Jesse began his building career at 15 years old, when he apprenticed for the inventor Fred Gore. They spent a summer riding motorcycles through the woods and working on Fred’s masterpiece, the portable sawmill. Though Fred never made his fortune with the invention, he also never stopped doing what he did best: Seeking extraordinary solutions to ordinary problems. SHIFT is based on that quest.
